Recently, Petrochina Company Limited(601857) signed a number of cooperation documents with its Russian partners, opening up a new situation for further strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation in oil, natural gas, new energy and other fields.
On February 3, Petrochina Company Limited(601857) group and Gazprom signed a Sino Russian Far East natural gas purchase and sales agreement, which is another important cooperation achievement in pipeline natural gas trade between the two sides after the Sino Russian East line natural gas pipeline was put into operation in December 2019.
On February 4, Petrochina Company Limited(601857) group and Rosneft signed a supplementary agreement to the crude oil purchase and sales contract to ensure the oil supply of refineries in Western China. As of January 2022, Petrochina Company Limited(601857) has imported more than 300 million tons of pipeline crude oil and more than 15 billion cubic meters of natural gas from Russia.
