The first batch of diesel locomotives “tailor-made” for Thailand by Crrc Corporation Limited(601766) Qishuyan Locomotive Co., Ltd. recently held a delivery ceremony at Lasha railway station in chunburi Prefecture, Thailand.
At the delivery ceremony on the 4th, neru maniven, director of the National Railway Administration of Thailand, said that the diesel locomotives purchased from Crrc Corporation Limited(601766) have advanced technology, which is conducive to the Thai railway to transport passengers and goods more quickly and safely, and further improve the efficiency of Thai railway services.
Deng Xi, deputy director of the international trade center of CRRC Qishuyan Locomotive Co., Ltd., said that this is another important cooperation after Crrc Corporation Limited(601766) successfully provided 20 diesel locomotives to the National Railway Administration of Thailand in 2014.
On August 31, 2020, Crrc Corporation Limited(601766) officially signed a contract for 50 AC drive diesel locomotives with the National Railway Administration of Thailand. The project is the largest single vehicle order in the history of Thai railway. The first batch of 20 sets were delivered.
The locomotive is a meter gauge AC drive diesel locomotive with low axle load, which is suitable for passenger and freight transportation throughout Thailand. The loading power is 2380 kW and the maximum operating speed is 120 km / h. It adopts the structure of double cab in the inner corridor and has the function of reconnection.
