Statistics show that Dunhuang 100 MW molten salt tower photothermal power station is independently designed and invested by Shouhang High-Tech Energy Co.Ltd(002665) . It is the first 100 MW commercial molten salt tower photothermal power station in China and even Asia. It is also one of the first batch of national photothermal power generation demonstration projects. The power station adopts the physical energy storage mode of high-capacity molten salt, which can realize 24-hour continuous power generation.
Further, Dunhuang 100 MW molten salt tower photothermal power station was built at the end of December 2018. Compared with thermal power generation, the power station is designed to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 350000 tons per year, equivalent to the environmental benefits of 10000 mu of forest. In terms of data indicators, the total power generation of Shouhang energy-saving Dunhuang 100MW tower molten salt solar thermal power station in the third quarter of 2021 was 78.383862 million kwh, an annual increase of 1.3% over the same period in 2020 and 39.7% over the same period in 2019.
