The strong spring festival atmosphere and the Winter Olympic atmosphere are intertwined, and ice and snow activities are extremely hot. From January 31 to February 3, many scenic spots, parks and snow fields in Beijing launched ice and snow themed activities to attract citizens and tourists to experience.

It is worth mentioning that traditional neighborhoods are favored by the general public and tourists. In the top ten list of tourists in scenic spots and regions in the city four days before the holiday, Qianmen Street business district and Wangfujing Group Co.Ltd(600859) business district occupy the top of the list.

According to the statistics of Beijing Municipal Bureau of culture and tourism, from January 31 to February 3, 147 key tourist attractions (regions) in the city received 3.941 million tourists (excluding the number of global Resorts), a year-on-year decrease of 2.6% compared with 2021 and an increase of 1.5 times compared with 2020; The operating revenue is 300 million yuan (excluding the revenue of global resort), a year-on-year decrease of 7.5% compared with 2021, an increase of 2 times compared with 2020.

During the Spring Festival holiday, rural tourism is very popular. As of February 3, the city’s rural tourism had received 446000 tourists, a year-on-year increase of 2.3 times compared with 2021 and 9.9 times compared with 2020 (an increase of 405000 people); The operating income reached 74.424 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 1.4 times over 2021 and 13.8 times over 2020 (an increase of 69.387 million yuan). Yanqing District, Miyun District and Huairou district are the top three in the number of tourists.
