The Samaranch Memorial Hall for the Winter Olympics reopened on the 4th

On the 4th, Samaranch memorial hall also resumed its opening, and the two Winter Olympic exhibitions attracted many ice and snow lovers.

Actively contributing to the Beijing Winter Olympics, Samaranch memorial hall held the “eternal fire witnessing the double Olympics” Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics torch relay exhibition and the special exhibition “ice and snow brilliance – telling the world the cultural story of China’s Winter Olympics”.

The torch relay exhibition of Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games shows the torch objects of previous winter Olympic Games from 1952 to 2018. At the same time, the exhibition also specially set up a group photo experience area for the torch of Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games.

The special exhibition “snow, snow and brilliance – telling the world the story of Chinese Winter Olympic culture” is divided into three units to show the origin of China and the Winter Olympic Games from ancient times to the present. Unit 1 Altay, Xinjiang, China — tracing back to the earliest origin of human skiing, showing the ancient fur skis in Altay area; Unit 2 “ancient winter Olympics” shows the popular ice and snow sports in ancient China, including speed skating, figure skating, ice archery and ice martial arts. The patterns are comparable to the Winter Olympics. In the third unit of the Winter Olympic dream chasing by the ice and snow corps, it tells the 38 year history of China’s first participation in the Winter Olympic Games in 1980 to the 2018 Pingchang Winter Olympic Games. Chinese athletes have attacked the gold medals again and again. Everyone also feels the power of the Olympic spirit from the exhibition.
