According to Xu Hejian, director of the center, in the next 20 days, the center has prepared 100 news activities, 100 picture displays and 1000 kinds of foreign publicity products for media reporters.
There will be a city interview at 8 a.m. and a press conference at 10 a.m.
From February 1 to February 20, the 2022 Beijing News Center opened in the Beijing International Hotel Convention Center, mainly serving non registered media practitioners with official reporter status for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games.
Xu Hejian introduced that since the first news release on November 29, 2021, the center has received extensive attention and strong support from all walks of life and the news media. According to statistics, a total of 432 1770 Chinese and foreign journalists were successfully registered, including 1251 in 279 domestic media, 453 in 130 foreign media and 66 in 23 Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan media. It has become the news center for non registered journalists participating in the Winter Olympic Games with the widest coverage of journalists.
