Take Visionox Technology Inc(002387) as an example, Visionox Technology Inc(002387) joint-stock company Chengdu CHENXIAN optoelectronics Co., Ltd. recently announced the launch of a 12.7-inch micro led splicing display that can be used for high-end TV. The product has been independently developed and uses a 25 micron LED chip for the first time.
According to the relevant person in charge of vinos, the micro LED display adopts 6 pieces of splicing, and the seam is less than 100 microns. With the self-developed hybrid drive circuit architecture and high-speed massive transfer technology, CHENXIAN optoelectronics successfully achieved the display effect of 98% dci-p3 color gamut, 700nit brightness and 256 gray scale (8bit) color depth, and improved the transfer yield of 25 micron LED chip to 99.9%.
It is reported that CHENXIAN optoelectronics has built a micro LED display production line from driving backplane, massive transfer and repair to full coverage of modules. At present, in the field of micro led, CHENXIAN optoelectronics has 676 patent applications, accounting for 96.7% of invention patents.
For future development prospects, Hu Fei, senior researcher of CHENXIAN photoelectric technology planning department, revealed that in the field of glass based micro LED technology, CHENXIAN photoelectric will focus on high-end TV, vehicle and intelligent wearable applications, while silicon-based micro LED technology will focus on AR applications.
