On January 27, Jiangsu ship lock emergency support center of Beijing Hangzhou canal sent electrical technicians to efficiently complete the PLC program optimization of Shiqiao No. 1 lock, changed the manual lifting valve in the decentralized control mode of the ship lock to the automatic lifting valve, simplified the operation steps and greatly improved the operation efficiency of the ship lock.
Shiqiao ship lock is located at the intersection of the Beijing Hangzhou canal and the Yangtze River. It is an important water hub connecting the North Jiangsu canal to the Yangtze River. It is one of the busier ship locks on rivers in China. Shiqiao No.3 ship lock will be overhauled after the Spring Festival. The control mode of No.1 lock is divided into program control and decentralized control. Due to the large water level difference and the potential safety hazards of program control, the decentralized control mode has been adopted. In this mode, the ship lock operators must operate manually one by one according to the switching sequence and add the function of "automatic lifting and lowering valve", In order to improve the operation efficiency of Shiqiao ship lock during overhaul and spring transportation, it is particularly necessary.
The emergency support center sent technicians to communicate with the maintenance personnel of the gate on the PLC program optimization scheme of the gate, and reached an agreement on the functional layout of the automatic lifting and lowering valve in the control system interface. Finally, the professional software is used to modify the PLC program, increase the function of automatic valve dropping after the gate is opened to the position, increase the function of automatic valve lifting after the upstream (downstream) gate valve is closed in place, and add the mode switching button and mode display of automatic valve lifting in the WebAccess configuration software. After many on-site debugging and observation, the program modification was completed on the 28th. In the decentralized control mode, the manual operation is reduced from the previous 8 steps to 4 steps. The program runs smoothly and the operation is convenient, which greatly improves the operation efficiency of the ship lock and protects the safety and smoothness of the Spring Festival ship lock.
