The cargo throughput of Zhoushan port in Zhejiang Province exceeded 600 million tons for the first time

On the 28th, the reporter learned from Zhoushan port, navigation and port administration of Zhejiang province that in 2021, the cargo throughput of Zhoushan port exceeded 600 million tons for the first time, reaching 600.6532 million tons, an increase of 5.12% over the previous year (the same below).

According to the data, in the local port cargo throughput, iron ore increased slightly, oil and gas increased steadily, coal increased significantly, and grain broke the 10 million ton mark for the first time. The port economy showed strong toughness and vitality.

Affected by the price fluctuation of bulk commodities such as iron ore, crude oil and coal, as well as the de productivity factors of China’s steel and other industries, coupled with many constraints caused by the ups and downs of the global covid-19 pneumonia epidemic, the import of bulk commodities is facing great downward pressure. In this context, the local government should smooth the channel, optimize the environment, stabilize the project and promote production, and use the “hard core” force to help the stability and smoothness of the industrial chain and supply chain.

In 2021, Zhoushan contributed to the completion of the Zhanjiang Mamu pipeline for oil supply, breaking through the adjustment of LNG planning indicators of Liuheng, ensuring the construction of Zhejiang LNG receiving center and the commissioning of ENN LNG phase II, resulting in a steady growth in oil and gas throughput. On the premise of ensuring the implementation of normalized epidemic prevention and control measures, the port department will speed up the customs clearance efficiency of ships and goods, strengthen pilotage, tugboat and other services, and improve the operation and turnover efficiency of oil and gas and other bulk material transportation ships. In 2021, Zhoushan City completed 132.523 million tons of oil and gas throughput, an increase of 3.95%.

In promoting the construction of river sea intermodal transport service center in depth, Zhoushan went deep into more than 30 port cities along the river and reached cooperation with Jiujiang, Huangshi, Wuhan and other port cities in the middle and upper reaches of the Yangtze River; Build China’s first river sea direct bulk cargo fleet, put into operation two 14000 ton river sea direct ships, innovate and open up two bulk cargo quasi liner routes from Zhoushan to Wuhan and Zhoushan to Huangshi, and enable the “accelerated running” of river sea intermodal transport.

At the same time, the innovative practice of Zhejiang Shanghai cross port oil supply, the integration of the Yangtze River Delta oil and gas trading market, and the online operation of “Zhoushan price” have improved the competitive advantage of bonded oil supply price, improved the efficiency of on-site oil supply service, and attracted international ships to Zhoushan for oil filling and supply.

In 2021, Zhoushan will achieve a total output of maritime services of 35 billion yuan, an increase of 30%; Attract 62 maritime service enterprises, and introduce a number of leading enterprises such as longyi logistics, Ningxing holding and Fuji of Japan. In the future, with the construction of a first-class strong port, the cargo throughput of Zhoushan port is expected to be further improved. (end)
