Among them, the number of people sent was 3.0366 million, a year-on-year increase of 84%; The number of arrivals was 1.614 million, an increase of 70% year-on-year.

Among various modes of external passenger transport, railway is still the main transport, with a total of 3.071 million passengers, an increase of 85% year-on-year; There were 1.1634 million passengers from civil aviation, an increase of 75% year-on-year; A total of 399300 passengers arrived and left by road passenger transport, an increase of 54% year-on-year; A total of 4300 passenger arrivals and departures by water, an increase of 115% year-on-year. Overall, the total volume of inbound and outbound passengers is 39% of the same period in 2019, and the volume of outbound passengers is 42% of the same period in 2019. The overall passenger flow is still at a medium and low level.

In terms of passenger transport in the city, the average daily passenger transport volume was 14.938 million times, a year-on-year increase of 15.7%. Among them, the average daily passenger volume of rail transit was 9.735 million times, a year-on-year increase of 24%; The average daily passenger volume of public transport was 3.822 million times, with a year-on-year increase of 5.5%; The average daily passenger volume of cruising taxis was 1.304 million times, a year-on-year decrease of 4.5%; The average daily passenger volume of water passenger transport was 77000 times, with a year-on-year increase of 6.2%.

In terms of road network operation, the average daily flow of expressways was 1.344 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 24%, the average daily flow of expressways out of Shanghai was 232000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 49%, and the average daily flow into Shanghai was 170000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 28%. The average daily flow of urban expressways was 2.073 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 5.4%.

As the Spring Festival approaches, the arrival and departure volume of Shanghai’s external passenger transport keeps growing rapidly, the passenger transport volume of the city continues to decrease, the volume of Expressway going out of Shanghai at the external crossing basically reaches the high level before the festival, and the normal congestion point of the evening peak of the city’s expressway still exists.

According to the weather forecast, there will be a continuous precipitation process in Shanghai in the next three days. From the afternoon of the 28th to the 29th, there will be sleet or light snow in the central and western regions of Shanghai, and other regions will still be dominated by rainfall. Affected by the weather, the city’s transportation related units and departments have strengthened their preparations for emergencies.
