Whether from the digital RMB red envelopes sent to local citizens in some places or from some feedback from pilot merchants, the whole market is full of reverie about the application space of digital RMB and personal wallet.

As an important driving force of global economic growth, digital economy has also become the focus of public attention. At present, the digital RMB is still limited to the pilot activities and has not been fully launched, and the public's awareness is also low. Some respondents even told reporters that the digital RMB red envelopes they received have not been put to use because they do not understand the consumption scenarios and methods of digital RMB.

Some market analysts said that at present, China's digital RMB is still in the initial stage of development, and it still takes time for mature application and large-scale expansion of application scenarios. On the one hand, more real users are required to test the application scenario, use experience, bearing scale and other dimensions of digital RMB; On the other hand, at the level of banks and non bank payment institutions involved in circulation, their business access still needs to be mature and subdivided.
