UHV construction enters the fast track
The construction of UHV projects will certainly speed up this year. A number of people from the State Grid system expressed this view to the reporter of Shanghai Securities News.
It was revealed at the recent annual work conference of the state grid that the power grid investment will reach 501.2 billion yuan in 2022, which is the first time that the annual power grid investment plan of the State Grid has exceeded 500 billion yuan, a record high, with a year-on-year increase of 8.84%.
Xin Baoan, director of the State Grid, said that this year’s key work includes: optimizing and improving the company’s action plan and power grid planning, and promoting major projects of the new power system into the national planning. Fully promote the preliminary work of the key projects of the 14th five year plan, deepen the feasibility study design and give full play to the territorial role.
In terms of specific projects, the State Grid will promote the approval and commencement of UHV projects such as Wuhan Nanchang, Jinshang Hubei and Sichuan Chongqing interconnection. Promote the construction of Baihetan Zhejiang UHV DC and other key projects with high quality.
