On May 20, the final of the third scientific and technological works competition of “Suyan Cup” of China graduate Rural Revitalization science and technology and strong agriculture + innovation competition was held in Zhejiang agriculture and Forestry University. Tu Fei’s team of China Agricultural University, “pig health: RAA makes pig disease detection more convenient”, Chen Xu’s team, “a allicin nucleic acid nutritional health product targeted to regulate energy metabolism”, Zhang Ziliang’s team of Zhejiang Ocean University, “revitalizing the blue granary in the East China Sea – Research on the key technology of net clothing in the field breeding of Pseudosciaena crocea”, Geng Xue’s team of Northwest University of agriculture and forestry science and technology, “synthesis and research of light conversion agricultural film and LED luminous materials for plant growth” Six teams, including Wu Juan of Shanghai Ocean University’s work “helping the livelihood transformation of returning fishermen and promoting the social revitalization of fishing villages” and Zhang Shuhe of Zhejiang agriculture and Forestry University’s “Research on behavior mechanism and policy optimization of farmers’ participation in rural public environmental governance: from the perspective of waste classification treatment”, won the special prize. Another 15 teams won the first prize, 41 teams won the second prize and 75 teams won the third prize.
With the purpose of “stimulating innovation vitality and serving rural revitalization” and comprehensively promoting the cultivation of innovative talents, the competition is not only the continuation of the national agricultural and Forestry University graduate academic and scientific and technological works competition, but also a new major measure of Agricultural Graduate Innovation and practice reform and an important embodiment of higher education helping poverty alleviation and Rural Revitalization.
The finals of the competition are divided into three tracks: invention and production, natural science and social science. 374 teams from 93 universities across the country signed up, and 62 teams from 44 universities entered the national finals.
Zhao Yu, Deputy Secretary General of China academic degree and Graduate Education Association, said that graduate students are the leaders of science and technology and the new force of innovation in the future. Cultivating high-level talents with innovative and practical ability is the most urgent core task of graduate education at present. The competition has created opportunities and provided a stage for the majority of graduate students to improve their innovation and practical ability. In the past ten years, it has gradually grown into a brand event with important influence in the industry and society.
This event is guided by the Department of degree management and graduate education of the Ministry of education, jointly guided by the National Steering Committee for graduate education of agricultural professional degrees, hosted by the Chinese society of degree and graduate education and the youth science and technology center of China Association for science and technology, with China Agricultural University as the Secretariat of the Organizing Committee and Zhejiang agricultural and Forestry University as the contractor.
