On May 15, the 20 million T / a refining and petrochemical integration project (phase I) 21.5 million T / a ethylene plant of Yulong Petrochemical undertaken by PetroChina sixth construction company was started. The owner of Yulong petrochemical, the supervisor of Yangzi Petrochemical and all personnel of the project department attended the commencement ceremony.
Shandong Yulong Island refining and chemical integration project (phase I) plans to build a crude oil processing capacity of 20 million tons / year and 2 × 1.5 million T / a ethylene unit is mainly equipped with 10 million T / a atmospheric distillation unit, 10 million T / a atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit, light hydrocarbon recovery unit, desulfurization and mercaptan removal unit, residue hydrogenation unit and other oil refining process units, as well as 2 × 1.5 million T / a ethylene, 850000 T / a pyrolysis gasoline hydrogenation, 550000 T / a aromatics extraction, 200000 t / a butadiene extraction, EVA / LDPE and other chemical process units.
The project is a key construction project during the 14th Five Year Plan period. It is a large petrochemical project for the transformation of old and new kinetic energy and the adjustment of industrial structure in Shandong Province. It is of great significance to promote the adjustment, transformation and upgrading of industrial structure and realize leapfrog and high-quality development. The construction project of refining and chemical integration project (phase I) undertaken by CNPC sixth construction company mainly includes: 21.5 million T / a ethylene, 850000 T / a pyrolysis gasoline hydrogenation, 550000 T / a aromatics extraction, 200000 t / a butadiene extraction and 200000 / 60000 T / a MTBE / butene-1 unit.
