Hangzhou Artificial Intelligence Computing Center was officially launched on the 20th. The center is the first artificial intelligence infrastructure in Zhejiang Province. It is built in the mode of “1 + 4 + 3 + n”, that is, relying on “one center and four platforms”, facing the three key fields of scientific research, enterprises and government affairs, it radiates and constructs n industrial alliances to build a prosperous and intensive artificial intelligence ecological industry cluster.
Hangzhou Artificial Intelligence Computing Center is located in Binjiang, Hangzhou. The phase I computer room covers an area of 2000 square meters. The construction scale of phase I is 40p flops (400 million floating-point operations per second) and phase II will be expanded to 100p flops (1 billion floating-point operations per second). It will further help the development of local artificial intelligence enterprises and support the model training and reasoning of major AI applications, which can be used in smart medicine, smart finance, smart manufacturing Intelligent transportation and other application scenarios.
Jiang GuiGui, Deputy Secretary General of Zhejiang provincial government, said that Zhejiang is actively promoting digital reform around the construction of a modern economic system with digital economy as the core, and seizing the opportunity of integrated development of digitization, networking and intelligence. The launch of Hangzhou Artificial Intelligence Computing Center will further open up the blocking point of the integration of artificial intelligence and the real economy, promote the orderly opening of data, algorithms and computing resources, and promote the digitization and intellectualization of Zhejiang industry to a new height.
It is reported that Hangzhou Artificial Intelligence Computing Center adopts Huawei atlas 900 AI cluster, which represents the world’s cutting-edge computing power. It is composed of thousands of AI processors, which can faster carry out AI model training of image and voice, and greatly improve the work and research efficiency of artificial intelligence enterprises.
Zhao Rui, general manager of Huawei Zhejiang, proposed that Huawei would join hands with all sectors of the industry to fully support the construction and operation of Hangzhou Artificial Intelligence Computing Center, help Zhejiang build a highland of China’s artificial intelligence industry, and provide more impetus for Zhejiang’s high-quality development and construction of a demonstration area of common prosperity.
On the same day, Zhejiang University and Zhejiang University of technology, more than a dozen industry-leading enterprises signed up for computing services as the first representatives and settled in Hangzhou Artificial Intelligence Computing Center.
