At the first quarter news briefing held by the Guangdong Provincial Department of industry and information technology recently, the reporter learned that the added value of the province’s advanced manufacturing industry increased by 5.9% in the first quarter, and the absolute value accounted for 54.3% of the province’s above designated industries. Among them, the added value of automotive, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, electrical and mechanical industries increased by 24.2%, 6.1%, 16.4% and 4.6% respectively.
Among them, the output of industrial products with high technical content and high added value in Guangdong maintained rapid growth. In the first quarter, the output of new energy vehicles increased by 189.6% year-on-year, accounting for 16.2% of the country.

Guangzhou will vigorously promote the construction of a pilot area for the Internet of vehicles

The reporter learned that the added value of Guangzhou’s automobile manufacturing industry was 34.884 billion yuan, accounting for 27.5% of the added value of industries above designated size. The scale ranked first in all sub industries of industry, with a year-on-year increase of 17.6%, and the contribution rate to the growth of added value of industries above designated size in the city was as high as 56.1%.
Among them, the terminal sales volume of Dongfeng Nissan in the first quarter reached 242341, including 215821 Nissan brand terminals and 24575 Qichen brand terminals, with a year-on-year increase of 52.2%. It is reported that recently, Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of industry and information technology officially issued and implemented the overall technical specification for the construction of Guangzhou Internet of vehicles pilot area and the technical specification for v2x cloud control basic platform in Guangzhou Internet of vehicles pilot area.
This is the first city level vehicle networking technical standard document in China, which will provide a unified standard and basis for the construction of vehicle networking. As the first batch of technical specifications for the construction of the pilot area of the Internet of vehicles in Guangzhou, this document will help correctly guide the pilot area of the Internet of vehicles to build a standardized, standardized and scientific development system, and promote the high-tech industry, including cloud infrastructure and intelligent connected vehicles, to a new level.
