National Energy Administration: promote the increase of oil and gas reserves and production, and speed up the construction of major projects such as pipe network facilities

Today, the National Energy Administration held an online press conference for the second quarter. Liang Changxin, director of the comprehensive Department of the energy administration and spokesman, said that the national energy administration will unswervingly implement the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on accelerating the construction of natural gas production, supply, storage and marketing system and vigorously improving oil and gas exploration and development, organize relevant enterprises to go all out to promote the increase of oil and gas reserves and production, and speed up the construction of major projects such as pipe network facilities. Oil and gas production: with the joint efforts of all parties, Petrochina Company Limited(601857) natural gas maintained a good momentum of increasing production in the first quarter. Superimposed on the factors of relatively low base in the same period last year, the crude oil production increased by 4.4% year-on-year and the natural gas production increased by 6.6% year-on-year. Against the background of high international natural gas prices, domestic gas continues to play the role of “ballast”, which effectively ensures the stability of China’s market.
