The reporter learned that since April, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government) and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps have reported a total of 553251 local infections, affecting all provinces except Tibet. Recently, the national epidemic continues to show a situation of multiple points and a wide range. Large-scale and scattered epidemic situations coexist, and continue to show a complex situation of multiple points, multiple sources and multiple chains.

Zhou Min introduced that according to the forecast, the passenger flow during the May Day holiday this year will be significantly lower than that last year, and the passenger flow will show a trend of “high at both ends and low in the middle”. Affected by the epidemic situation and local prevention and control policies, the tourist radius of people during holidays will be significantly reduced compared with that in normal times.
