“In the past, the cables were messy. In addition to affecting the appearance of the city, they also buried potential safety hazards in the daily life of residents. I am very in favor of rectifying the cables.” Mr. Luo, a resident who has lived in Qunfu community for decades, also has deep feelings about this. Qunfu community is one of the surrounding old communities. Due to the imperfect urban planning in the early stage, the electric power, telecommunications, mobile and other wires and cables in the lane are laid disorderly, and the useless cables occupy a lot of space. Even due to the non-standard binding and other reasons, it is easy for citizens to bump into the falling cables.
Since April this year, in order to cooperate with the action of “beautiful Meizhou · beautiful home”, further purify, beautify and optimize the urban appearance and order, and realize the cleanness, beauty, standardization and order of urban cables, the leading group for special cable rectification has been established in Sanjiao Town, Meijiang district, to further promote the cable rectification work within the jurisdiction.
The rectification action is divided into four areas: airport, Wanda business district, railway station and Kedu new village, which are led by China Mobile Meizhou branch, China United Network Communications Limited(600050) Meizhou branch, Shaanxi Broadcast & Tv Network Intermediary(Group)Co.Ltd(600831) Meizhou branch and China Telecom Corporation Limited(601728) Meizhou branch with the cooperation of other pipeline units.
During a recent visit to Wanda business district, the reporter saw that the cable renovation work has been basically completed around the party masses service centers of villages (communities) such as Sanxiang village and Sanxiang community and the Meiyuan market, and a large number of cables have been bundled and pasted on the wall according to the regulations.
“Since April 1, we have started to sort out and dismantle the abandoned cables, bind and stick the non-standard cables to the wall to ensure safety and cleanliness, and timely investigate and rectify the situation of private connection and disorderly pulling.” Said Luo Zhisong, China United Network Communications Limited(600050) relevant person in charge.
During the cable renovation, triangle town coordinated all villages (communities) to inform residents in advance and deal with the line problems related to residents’ lives in time. After more than half a month of renovation, triangle town has completed the renovation of more than 14000 meters of cables, and the overall appearance of the city has been significantly improved.
