Recently, market sentiment has been mainly affected by the epidemic, but the impact of recent bad weather cannot be ignored. According to the announcement of the China Meteorological Administration on April 13, a strong cold air affects most parts of China from west to East. The cause of the cold air is that the high latitude areas in Mongolia receive less solar radiation and lower atmospheric temperature. After a period of accumulation, it forms a high-altitude trough and ground cold high pressure, which gradually moves eastward and carries the cold air eastward into China, with a wide range from west to East.
The rain and snow brought by this cold air has different effects on different regions. It is conducive to the increase of moisture in the wheat field in the northern winter wheat area and the alleviation of drought in some parts of the northwest. However, at the same time, the weather such as strong wind, sand dust and cooling caused by cold air may have an adverse impact on facility agriculture, animal husbandry and fruit trees in flowering period.
The cold air has affected more than 20 provinces and municipalities directly under the central government. The total GDP of the provinces and municipalities directly under the central government seriously affected by the cold air accounts for about 42.3% of the national GDP. From the current time point, the adverse impact caused by the cold air is still controllable. Targeted preventive measures must be taken to reduce the impact of the cold air.
