Five departments including the National Health Commission and the Ministry of Civil Affairs recently jointly issued the notice on carrying out the publicity week of the occupational disease prevention and control law in 2022. The circular calls for the effective implementation of the five character strategy of “prevention, treatment, management, education and construction”, strengthening the responsibilities of Party committees, governments, departments, employers and individual workers, further enhancing the occupational health awareness of the whole society and effectively improving the health level of workers.
It is reported that from April 25 to May 1, 2022 is the 20th publicity week of the law on the prevention and control of occupational diseases. This year’s theme is “everything for the health of workers”.
The notice pointed out that in view of the complex situation of covid-19 pneumonia epidemic prevention and control recently, this year’s publicity week mainly adopts online activities and the combination of Wuxi Online Offline Communication Information Technology Co.Ltd(300959) and Wuxi Online Offline Communication Information Technology Co.Ltd(300959) . In principle, large-scale offline activities are not held. Places and enterprises with conditions can carry out offline publicity activities appropriately in combination with epidemic prevention requirements. All localities should carry out publicity activities around the 20th anniversary of the promulgation and implementation of the occupational disease prevention and control law, the implementation of the national occupational disease prevention and control plan (20212025), and the promotion of occupational health protection actions.
The notice requires that through a wide range of publicity and education activities, popularize the knowledge of occupational disease prevention and control, further promote the implementation of the responsibilities of workers, employers and relevant government departments, create a strong atmosphere in which the whole society cares about occupational disease prevention and control, and effectively enhance the occupational health acquisition and happiness of the majority of workers.
