Announcement on the successful launch of Zhongxing 6D satellite

At 20:00 on April 15, 2022, Zhongxing 6D satellite was successfully launched by long march 3B carrier rocket at Xichang Satellite Launch Center, and the satellite entered the predetermined orbit as planned. Zhongxing 6D satellite will be delivered to China Satellite Communications Co.Ltd(601698) operation management after passing the in orbit test.
Zhongxing 6D satellite is the successor satellite of Zhongxing 6a, with a design life of 15 years. It adopts the Dongfanghong 4 enhanced satellite platform independently developed by China, and is equipped with C-band and Ku band transponders. It can cover the whole territory of China and the Asia Pacific region. Compared with Zhongxing 6A satellite, the satellite performance and transmission capacity are significantly enhanced. It can provide users with independent, controllable, safe and stable radio, television and communication transmission services.
