China Automobile Industry Association disclosed on the 11th that in the first quarter of 2022, China's automobile industry prosperity index ACI was 42, up 18 points from the fourth quarter of 2021, in the green light area, and the automobile industry operated in the normal range.

According to the prosperity evaluation index system of automobile industry, the research results show that in the prosperity index of China's automobile industry in the first quarter, the consistent composite index of automobile industry increased by 3.57 points compared with the fourth quarter of 2021, indicating that the operation state of China's automobile industry has picked up.

The leading composite index decreased by 2.43 points compared with the previous quarter, indicating that there is a certain downward pressure on the operation of the automobile industry in the future.

The China Automobile Industry Association said that at present, China's economic operation is generally maintained within a reasonable range, but the complexity and uncertainty of China's external environment have increased, and some have exceeded expectations. Looking forward to the situation of the whole year, affected by the macro economy, the development of the automobile industry is facing the pressure of shrinking demand, supply shock and weakening expectation, and the task of stabilizing growth is still arduous.

It is reported that the prosperity index of China's automobile industry consists of a consistent composite index and a leading composite index. Among them, the consistent composite index represents the current operation status of the automobile industry; The leading composite index represents the prediction before the operation of the automobile industry changes.
