Recently, Kuang-Chi Technologies Co.Ltd(002625) Chairman Liu ruopung said in an interview with the reporter of China Securities Journal that after a series of production and data accumulation, all the mass production stability of the third-generation metamaterial technology has been completed in the first quarter, and the company’s third-generation metamaterial technology has entered the mass production stage as scheduled. In addition, in the first quarter of this year, there will be more than 10 research and batch production orders, all of which adopt the third-generation metamaterial technology.
According to public information, in the past two years, Kuang-Chi Technologies Co.Ltd(002625) vigorously invested in the development, production and testing of metamaterials. It has not only completed the production expansion of Shenzhen Yinxing base and Supercomputing Center, but also established the 709 base (phase I) of the country’s largest metamaterial manufacturing center, which integrates production, testing, testing and storage. It can realize the whole chain system of metamaterial design, calculation, manufacturing and testing, and can complete the design of aviation structural parts with complex curved surface shape. At present, the annual production capacity is 40000 kg of metamaterials. Liu ruopung revealed that with the increasing demand for cutting-edge equipment in the market, the phase I production capacity of 709 base will not meet the medium and long-term delivery demand. The company will start the phase II construction of 709 base this year.
Kuang-Chi Technologies Co.Ltd(002625) disclosed order announcement shows that the number and amount of orders for metamaterials of the company have increased rapidly in recent three years, and the requirements for product quality and process complexity have also increased significantly. In terms of order amount, Kuang-Chi Technologies Co.Ltd(002625) recently disclosed a single order contract of nearly 2 billion yuan, which increased by nearly 100 times compared with the earliest contract amount in 2019. In terms of product structure, it has also changed from the initial “supporting products” to “super large complex structural parts”.
Liu ruopung said that this year, the company has signed development and batch production orders with important customers, which will not only have a significant impact on the company’s performance, but also have a milestone significance for the development of the metamaterial industry and take a key step in the industrialization process.
