Jilin Liyuan Precision Manufacturing Co.Ltd(002501) (hereinafter referred to as “the company”) disclosed the dispute over the liability for misrepresentation of the company by the plaintiffs Huang, Li and Zhang on July 29, 2021. The company recently received the civil judgment and other legal documents served by the intermediate people’s Court of Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province, and now discloses the progress of relevant litigation as follows:
1、 Progress on the case
On July 29, 2021, the company disclosed the case of investors such as Mr. Huang, Mr. Li and Mr. Zhang against the company’s liability for false statements, involving a total litigation amount of 131666129.97 yuan. For details, see “III. other litigation and arbitration matters” in the announcement on litigation matters (Announcement No.: 2021-056). As for the above cases of dispute over liability for false statements, as of December 31, 2021, the company had received 230 litigation materials, involving a total litigation amount of 160086461.90 yuan (including a new litigation amount of 28420331.93 yuan).
Among them, the company received a total of 182 litigation cases decided by the first instance on December 30, 2021, involving a cumulative amount of 116918618.20 yuan, and the cumulative amount of compensation awarded by the court was 4174139.23 yuan; As of December 31, 2021, 48 litigation cases have not been heard or the judgment of first instance has not been received, and the cumulative amount of litigation cases involved is 43167843.70 yuan. 2、 Other undisclosed litigation and arbitration matters
As of the disclosure date of this announcement, the company has not disclosed a total of 2 small claims and arbitration matters, involving a total amount of 196784.20 yuan.
3、 Possible impact of litigation and arbitration in this announcement on the company’s profits in the current period or after the period
1. As of the disclosure date of this announcement, the judgment of first instance has not yet taken effect. In the early stage, the company has included the amount involved in pending litigation into estimated liabilities and relevant accounting subjects in accordance with the accounting standards for business enterprises. Up to now, the estimated amount of liabilities covers the estimated amount of compensation and litigation costs. The litigation matters involved in this announcement are not expected to have an impact on the company’s profits in 2021. The company will advocate and actively take relevant legal measures to safeguard the legitimate interests of the company and all shareholders.
