On March 10, JD logistics released its first annual performance report after listing. In 2021, the total revenue of JD logistics reached 104.7 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 42.7%.
"The increase in total revenue was driven by a 27.8% increase in revenue from customers in the integrated supply chain and an 89.5% increase in revenue from other customers." Jingdong Logistics said in the financial report.
According to the financial report, the revenue of external customers of JD logistics reached 59.1 billion yuan in 2021, a year-on-year increase of 72.7%, accounting for 56.5% of the total revenue. According to the financial report, JD's operating cost increased from 67.1 billion yuan in 2020 to 98.9 billion yuan in 2021, a year-on-year increase of 47.4%.
This mainly involves providing compensation and benefits for more than 300000 front-line employees such as warehouse management, sorting, packaging, transportation and distribution, and customer service. According to the financial report, the salary and welfare expenditure of JD logistics front-line employees reached 35.8 billion yuan in 2021, an increase of nearly 10 billion yuan compared with 2020.
In terms of gross profit and gross profit margin, during the financial reporting period, this data of JD logistics decreased to 5.8 billion yuan from 6.3 billion yuan in 2020.
