At the same time of the 2021 Guangzhou fashion industry conference, “Haizhu appointment · Digital Fashion Night” was held in Guangzhou tower, the city landmark of Guangzhou. The event released Haizhu fashion research results and Haizhu fashion index, brought China Jinding award designer Deng Zhaoping – “heart water” 2022 release, and Guangzhou International Zhejiang China Light & Textile Industrial City Group Co.Ltd(600790) fashion source creation platform × Mr. Zhang Zhaoda’s senior customized works release and Haizhu local enterprises’ original brand fashion show, etc.
Haizhu District was awarded the title of “China textile fashion city” at the recently concluded video expansion meeting of the Sixth Council of the fourth session and the tenth executive director of the fourth session of China Textile Industry Federation. Xia Lingmin, vice president of China Textile Industry Federation, presented the license to Haizhu District at the conference.

The “appointment of Haizhu · Digital Fashion Night” advanced customization night is set against the colorful night of the Pearl River and the brightly lit central axis of the city. On the Guangzhou tower, the designers of China Golden Top Award and local original fashion brands integrate the national style into fashion, interpret the works with Lingnan traditional elements, bring the first show of a series of works, and fully demonstrate the advanced customization industry level of Haizhu fashion.
As a local designer, Deng Zhaoping, the designer of China Golden Top Award, China’s top ten fashion designers and China’s textile intangible cultural heritage Promotion Ambassador, has set up a studio in Haizhu District. Over the years, she has been committed to promoting intangible cultural heritage with clothing as the carrier and showing the new appearance of contemporary Chinese fashion culture. In this “heart water” work show, the designer redefines the fashion trend from the perspective of exploration, integrates tradition and fashion, and tells the new trend.
She introduced that the works at the press conference integrated “one cup and two pieces” of Guangfu’s morning tea culture into the works. The design is inspired by the street scenery of Guangzhou people queuing to test nucleic acid and sigh morning tea during the local epidemic prevention and control in 2021.
The “Lingnan bride” show of Guangzhou local original brand “Huixia cheongsam” and the “flower Guangdong edge” show of Haizhu local original brand “living on the left” decode and reorganize the traditional architectural structural elements of Lingnan culture, Chinese traditional clothing and color elements, and apply them to clothing details to endow contemporary clothing with rich cultural connotation.
During the event, Guangzhou International Zhejiang China Light & Textile Industrial City Group Co.Ltd(600790) fashion source creation platform joined hands with Mr. Zhang Zhaoda, pioneer of Chinese fashion design, master of double Golden Top Award fashion design and vice president of International China Artists Association, to bring the release of advanced customized works – “Flower City Night” Zhang Zhaoda 2022 Guangzhou show. Driven by “fashion”, the work starts the fashion source creation platform, links high-quality fabrics and fashion design resources, perfectly integrates Chinese romance and modern abstraction, and presents a dreamy fashion adventure in the dead of night.

Haizhu District is committed to building a fashion brand gathering place and fashion trend leading territory, and has cultivated a number of high-quality local clothing and beauty brands such as Yixian e-commerce, Aibo group, Huimei group and exceptional clothing. “Light of domestic goods” perfect diary is a local enterprise of Haizhu. It is the first domestic brand to top tmall’s makeup list, and has won the sales champion for three consecutive years. Since this year, the revenue of digital new retail enterprises such as Aoki technology and niesheng technology has exceeded 100 million yuan. At the “double 11” e-commerce shopping festival in 2021, 12 of the top 20 lists of all categories in the whole network are self owned and agent operated brands of enterprises in Haizhu District.
Haizhu has become a gathering place for designers to stimulate design inspiration and build a communication platform. In the core area of CUHK international innovation Valley, CUHK textile business district has more than 60 markets such as international Zhejiang China Light & Textile Industrial City Group Co.Ltd(600790) , Pearl River textile city and joint trading park. It has gathered more than 20000 designers, well-known designers such as Deng Zhaoping, winner of Jinding award, and a group of “China’s top ten designers” to set up enterprises and studios in Haizhu District.
Among them, more than 8000 garment designers, including China’s top ten, gathered in Guangzhou textile trading Park, making Haizhu the cradle of designer growth. In addition, Guangzhou light textile trading Park, Haizhu tongchuanghui and other parks gather fashion scenes such as fabric life hall, brand flagship store, designer studio, hundreds of well-known enterprises and brands in the industry, shaping multiple fashion space carriers such as international fashion release center, making Haizhu an ecological gathering place of fashion design.

Focusing on the digital fashion industry, the conference invited industry celebrities, designers and enterprise brand representatives to analyze the development environment of fashion industry at home and abroad, explore the digital mode of fashion industry, and strive to give full play to the advantages of Haizhu District’s deep Fashion Foundation and perfect fashion industry chain, so as to provide advice for the development of fashion industry and urban renewal and construction.
Haizhu fashion research report points out that CUHK textile business district is the only urban fashion industry business district that is difficult to copy. Haizhu fashion industry has a solid foundation for development and remarkable achievements in platform economic construction.
At the meeting, Pazhou think tank selected three representative digital fashion enterprises in Pazhou and compiled three Pazhou characteristic industry indexes as a useful supplement to the main index of Pazhou digital economy. The three characteristic industry indexes are Pazhou vipshop special sale index, Pazhou Yixian e-commerce beauty index and Pazhou Zhijing technology textile digital index.
The fashion industry in Haizhu District has a good foundation.
