Among them, Shanghai Telecom’s love and happiness class goes deep into the streets, neighborhood committees and universities for the elderly to help the elderly solve all kinds of problems in digital life, such as checking bills online, paying phone bills, scanning codes, taking buses, taking express, etc; The love wing station set up in 135 business halls can provide various convenience services such as hall rest, drinking water supply, mobile phone counseling, mobile phone charging, meal heating, smart family experience and so on; 373 business halls have love seats, which have served nearly 900000 elderly users.

Shanghai Mobile launched the senior version app and micro hall special area for elderly users over 65 years old, including common functions and taking care of the elderly’s needs for large fonts. The bill interface is simple and the consumption situation is clear, reducing the use threshold for the elderly; “Elder app” also launched a small video to prevent new network fraud. The total number of visits of “and your app elders” exceeds 4.09 million.

Shanghai Unicom provides some business outlets as venues for voluntary service activities for caring for the elderly; The company also cooperates with Bank Of China Limited(601988) to operate the “5g digital service application of bank outlets”. Focusing on the comprehensive needs of the elderly such as “medicine, food, housing, transportation, entertainment, emotion and learning”, the company provides more warm and considerate services to elderly customers and helps build an all-round community elderly care ecosystem. At the 2021 world artificial intelligence conference smart pension digital transformation forum in July 2021, Shanghai Unicom and other parties released the proposal for digital transformation of pension services. At the same time, Shanghai Unicom was awarded the first batch of “digital partnership program · Shanghai digital training base for the elderly”, which promoted the landing of intelligent elderly care equipment and industrial development, and carried out various aging training and volunteer service team construction.

Oriental Cable launched the all media lifelong education platform “golden school”. Oriental cable is also piloting intelligent information-based elderly care services in some regions to provide intelligent elderly care solutions for elderly users. Through customized village residence information and convenience information on the TV interface, the elderly can realize one key appointment registration, one key taxi, one key rescue and other services with simple operation of the remote control.

Many elderly service scenarios are also continuing to extend. Shanghai Telecom cooperates with Shanghai Taxi unified platform “Shencheng travel” to provide taxi service on behalf of others through the “114” service hotline, and install a “one button taxi call smart screen” in some public telephone booths and telecom business halls in Shanghai to realize “smart taxi call”. Shanghai Telecom recently launched a pilot “TV taxi” service. When using the remote control to operate the TV interface, the system will automatically provide popular places such as hospitals and scenic spots near the destination, making it more convenient for elderly users.

It is reported that departments such as Shanghai Communications Administration and enterprises such as communication operators will continue to implement the work requirements of the Ministry of industry and information technology and the Shanghai municipal Party committee and municipal government on solving the difficulties of the elderly in using intelligent technology, carry out cooperation and exchanges, and make the “silver haired people” more comfortable in integrating into digital life.
