The report points out that in 2021, the overall heat of the rental market in 10 national key cities such as Shanghai, Shenzhen, Beijing, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Chengdu, Wuhan, Chongqing and Xi’an was high, and the average rental rate of housing rental enterprises increased significantly. There is a strong demand in the rental market in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Beijing and other cities.
The report points out that in 2021, the standardization and operation ability of housing rental enterprises will be further strengthened. Different enterprises have clear standards in terms of customer source, site selection, house type, service, supporting facilities and infrastructure, and the division of brand lines is clear. With the continuous release of the increment of rental housing products, housing rental enterprises should continue to actively improve the fine operation ability.
From the supply side, the report points out that with the support of favorable policies, more non residential properties have entered the rental market, which has promoted the increase of market supply.
Looking forward to 2022, the report believes that in order to achieve the incremental target of rental housing supply, it is expected that all localities will actively explore a new mode of centralized land supply. The land supply model will become an important link in the formation of the long-term mechanism of rental housing.
