After the snowfall in the early morning of the 25th, they worked all night, drove more than 200 kilometers from 3:00 to 9:00 in the morning, and spread snow melting agent on 10 bridges with long longitudinal slopes such as Junshan bridge and Hanjiang Bridge. At present, the operation units of Hubei Communications Investment Group are fully engaged, and there are more than 1700 emergency maintenance operators only for anti freezing and anti-skid. In case of emergency, support forces will be increased.
Not only the manpower is sufficient, but also the snow and ice removal equipment is changed. It adds a “spreader bucket” and is equipped with safety belt after a small double row pickup truck. Through the combination of labor and machinery, about 2 tons of snow melting agent can be distributed at one time, with the distribution width of 4-5 meters, so as to solve the problem that the conventional snow melting agent distributor is easy to be congested on the road and inconvenient to operate in rainy and snowy weather. In addition, on the expressway, there are crawler transmission salt loading equipment, mechanized spreader, large snow shovel, etc., which realize full mechanization in the links of loading, spreading and snow shovel.
According to the requirements of the emergency plan, all high-speed toll stations are also equipped with anti-skid pads and other cold protection facilities, and provide daily emergency drugs, hot water and convenient food for passing drivers and passengers free of charge.
