On December 23, with the overall completion and operation of the second coastal transmission channel project in Jiangsu, the 300000 kW offshore wind farm of Huaneng located in Yancheng, Jiangsu was successfully incorporated into Jiangsu power grid. Jiangsu Offshore Wind Power cluster exceeded 10 million KW, ranking first in the country. It is expected that by the end of the 14th five year plan, the total scale of Jiangsu offshore wind power will reach about 13 million KW.
It is reported that the second channel project along the coast of Jiangsu includes three 500kV substations connected to the sea, Sheyang and Fenghai, and three 500kV Double circuit transmission lines connected to the sea – Fuhai, Zhongyang – Fenghai – Fenghui and Sheyang – Fenghui, forming the “three transformers and three lines” clean energy “artery” along the coast of Jiangsu, extending to Sheyang in Yancheng in the north and Rudong in Nantong in the south, with a total length of 350km.
“The project has opened up a new route of Jiangsu New Energy Development Co.Ltd(603693) source transmission, connected large-scale offshore wind power such as Yancheng and Nantong to the main 500 kV power grid in the province, and sent it to the Yangtze River Delta through long-distance transmission lines, laying a foundation for new energy consumption in Jiangsu during the 14th five year plan.” Chen Songtao, director of the planning and Management Office of the Ministry of electric power construction of Jiangsu Province of State Grid, introduced that after calculation, the channel is expected to deliver nearly 30 billion kwh of green and clean energy to the Yangtze River Delta every year, replace about 36.9 million tons of standard coal, reduce about 29.91 million tons of carbon dioxide, and about 135000 tons of sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides, driving the cumulative output value of upstream and downstream industries to 20 billion yuan, Support the regional GDP of 275 billion yuan.
It is worth mentioning that the three substations in Jiangsu coastal second channel project have built integrated energy stations including distributed photovoltaic and charging piles, which is also the first batch of integrated energy stations built in 500 kV substations of Jiangsu power grid. State Grid Jiangsu electric power uses the 18400 square meters of roof resources in the station to install a distributed photovoltaic system with a capacity of 1552 kW.
“Photovoltaic power generation is directly connected to the grid, and the annual power generation will reach 1.69 million kwh, with an average annual income of about 656000 yuan.
