In 2021, Yangquan City, together with Baidu, Zhixing, Gaoxian technology and other technology enterprises, launched the construction of “car city network”, including 10 sub projects such as intelligent transportation infrastructure transformation, Apollo Park and automatic driving travel service. Since the project was launched, Yangquan City has built 44 car road collaborative intelligent infrastructure intersections on 100 km roads in both directions throughout the urban area, It is also connected with the six intersections built in the pilot self driving vehicle road coordination demonstration area project of building a transportation power in Shanxi Province in 2020, forming a full coverage of infrastructure in the core area.
After the completion of Yangquan auto city network platform, it will support the large-scale operation of high-level autonomous vehicles above L4, provide people with a new experience of intelligent travel and service in multiple scenarios of autonomous driving, and support the test operation of low-level autonomous vehicles and the realization of vehicle networking application scenarios. In addition, the car city network platform is interconnected with traffic facilities, integrated with existing traffic management platforms such as intelligent traffic management, intelligent transportation, intelligent travel and intelligent parking, so as to improve urban traffic management functions such as “monitoring and early warning, command and dispatching, road network operation, illegal collection and cloud control”, and improve the scientific and technological level of urban traffic management; Connect with mobile vehicles and roadside infrastructure, dynamically scan the city, provide basic information for the construction of urban Internet of things and big data management, enhance the macro management of different platforms such as urban operation, road management and maintenance, municipal sanitation and urban logistics, and feed back the fine management of smart city.
At the same time, Yangquan high tech Industrial Development Zone, as the main bearing area for the construction of Checheng network, actively cultivates the relevant market players of “Checheng network” and creates a development platform. It has successively cooperated with Baidu, China Electronics, Beijing Centergate Technologies (Holding) Co.Ltd(000931) Zhiku and other scientific and technological enterprises, cultivated the industrial chain, and introduced a number of industrial leading enterprises such as zunte intelligence, Linnuo technology and Neolithic, Drive the initial formation of intelligent equipment manufacturing, data processing and automatic driving business operation industries in Yangquan City. This year, Yangquan will continue to speed up the implementation of Checheng network and Neolithic unmanned vehicle super factory projects, drive the commercial operation of automatic driving and the agglomeration of related industrial ecology, and launch the brand of “smart car city”.
