According to statistics, since 2021, 21 provinces have issued plans for the development and construction of wind power and photovoltaic power generation, and 14 provinces have also defined the annual scale indicators for 2021. Atlas photovoltaic energy storage system project plans to invest 6 billion yuan to install new energy storage cells, energy storage integration, energy storage testing and other equipment and facilities. In February, the development and Reform Commission of Zhejiang Province issued a notice on organizing the application for the “14th five year plan” new energy storage demonstration project. It is proposed that the new energy storage demonstration project declared by this organization will be included in the special plan for the development of new energy storage in the 14th five year plan of Zhejiang Province, with a total scale of 1 million KW. If it is confirmed as a demonstration project, a certain reward will be given. It is also understood that as of June 30, 2021, the installed capacity of new energy of Zhejiang power grid has reached 21.23 million KW, accounting for 19.6% of the total installed capacity of electricity. The maximum output exceeds 10 million KW, becoming the second largest output power supply in Zhejiang.
