According to the resolution of the fourth meeting of the Fourth Board of supervisors on The People’S Insurance Company (Group) Of China Limited(601319) November 17, 2021 (hereinafter referred to as “the company”), Mr. Zhang Tao serves as the shareholder representative supervisor and the chairman of the supervisor of the Fourth Board of supervisors of the company. His term of office starts from the date when the general meeting of shareholders deliberates and approves him as the supervisor of the company and his qualification of supervisor is approved by the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission. The company held the third extraordinary general meeting of shareholders in 2021 on December 29, 2021, and elected Mr. Zhang Tao as the shareholder representative supervisor of the Fourth Board of supervisors of the company.
Recently, the company received the official reply of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission approving the qualification of Mr. Zhang Tao as the supervisor of the company (Yin Bao Jian Fu [2022] No. 105). According to the reply, Mr. Zhang Tao’s term of office as shareholder representative supervisor and chief supervisor of the Fourth Board of supervisors of the company starts from February 15, 2022 (the approval date of the CBRC on his qualification) and ends at the expiration of the term of office of the Fourth Board of supervisors of the company.
