In the production workshop of Baoshan Penghao Silicon Industry Co., Ltd., workers Bao Changrui and colleagues are working in full swing. They add fuel to the furnace in time to ensure the smelting temperature of metal silicon. There are 54 workers in the production workshop of No. 1 boiler where baochangrui is located. They usually work in three shifts in turn. They all report back to the factory on time after the Spring Festival.
"After the Spring Festival, the factory will resume work and production, and we will come back to work immediately. The factory is close to home, with a monthly salary of more than 6000 yuan. There is no need to work in a far place, and the whole family expenditure is enough." Bao Changrui said.
Baoshan Penghao Silicon Industry Co., Ltd. was established in May 2019. The company produces metal silicon by processing silicon ore. The products are mainly used for the production and processing of aluminum alloy, silicone, polysilicon and Cecep Solar Energy Co.Ltd(000591) battery board. The products of the enterprise are mainly sold to Kunming, Yunnan, Shandong, Zhejiang and other places. At the same time, they are also exported to many countries. Due to the popular market, the output value increased from 160 million yuan in 2020 to 290 million yuan in 2021. This year, the company plans to achieve an output value of 300 million yuan. At present, all 178 workers of the company have been on duty and put into production wholeheartedly.

It is reported that Baoshan Changdu electrode and Baoshan southwest electrode have been officially put into production on the sixth day of the first month. The two companies produced 15000 tons of graphite electrodes last year, with an output value of 170 million yuan. Due to the good rising trend of graphite electrode price this year, it is planned to produce 20000 tons of graphite electrode and realize an output value of 400 million yuan. Therefore, the enterprise will resume production in advance to meet the demand of metal silicon factory electrode.
At present, there are 90 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size in Longyang District, Baoshan City, and 88 have resumed work and production.
