On February 11, relevant provincial departments released relevant information: the charging capacity of new energy vehicles on expressways in our province increased by more than twice year-on-year, and there was no long queue in the province.
According to the statistics of the provincial electric power company, during the Spring Festival (January 31 – February 6), the provincial electric power company built and operated 196 charging stations and 805 charging piles in the expressway service area, charging 1049700 kwh of new energy vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 203.37%; The average daily charging of a single pile is 77.1 times, and the average charging capacity of a single pile is 16.38 kwh. Among them, the highest single day charging capacity appeared on February 6 (the sixth day of the first month), and the expressway charging capacity reached 202200 kwh on that day, with a year-on-year increase of 159%; Compared with 150200 kwh on October 1, the highest single day in 2021, an increase of 34.6%; Compared with the average daily charging capacity of 43900 kwh in 2021, an increase of 365.75%.
Among the expressways in the province, the charging capacity of Shenhai expressway is the highest, reaching 211200 kwh, with a year-on-year increase of 245.29%, accounting for 20.07% of the charging capacity of expressways in the province during the Spring Festival. The highest daily charging capacity of the charging station in the expressway service area is Shenhai Expressway Sheyang service area (Shenyang direction). On January 27, the charging capacity of the station reached 3101.94 kwh, a year-on-year increase of 407.84%; The largest year-on-year increase is the charging station of Taizhou Baimi service area of Qiyang Expressway (Yangzhou direction), with an increase of 1013.86 kwh.
According to the monitoring statistics, only 68 charging stations in the service area of the province had a short queue during the 7-day holiday, mainly during the charging peak period on February 5 and 6, with an average waiting time of about 14 minutes.
In order to cope with the charging peak of Expressway new energy vehicles during the Spring Festival, before the festival, the Provincial Department of industry and information technology jointly launched eight measures to ensure the charging service of Expressway new energy vehicles with the Provincial Department of transportation, the Provincial Department of finance, State Grid Jiangsu electric power, provincial transportation holding, provincial electric vehicle service company and other units. This is the first exclusive service policy launched at the national provincial level specifically for the charging of new energy vehicles on highways during holidays, including the release of Jiangsu Expressway 2022 Spring Festival new energy vehicle charging strategy and the charging map of high-speed service area; Five mobile charging motor cars are deployed in Wuxi Meicun service area, Taizhou Guangling service area and Suzhou Yangcheng Lake service area with large traffic flow and charging capacity, and two charging motor cars are on standby; According to the North-South tide phenomenon, when the charging queue time in one side service area is long, open the two-way traffic culvert, etc.
