Since the beginning of this year, China’s renewable energy development has further shifted gears and accelerated the replacement of fossil energy on the basis of first standing and then breaking, so as to provide strong momentum for China’s green development.
Just after the Spring Festival, the construction of large renewable energy projects and projects has started the accelerated mode. In Guazhou, Jiuquan, Gansu Province, 64 of the largest fans on land are being hoisted. In Xilin Gol League, Inner Mongolia, the construction of 1.6 million KW large-scale wind power base is in full swing. After it is completed by the end of this year, it can provide more than 5 billion kwh of clean electric energy for Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei every year. In Maowusu Desert, the largest single smart photovoltaic power generation project in China, the first batch of 30000 kW installed capacity has just been completed. In Yunnan Dali, Lincang, Pu’er and other places along the Lancang River, the construction of wind, water and multi energy complementary bases has been comprehensively accelerated, and the construction of new energy projects relying on the construction of large hydropower stations has been started one after another.
At present, focusing on deserts, Gobi and desert areas, China is accelerating the construction of new energy bases on seven continents, including the upper reaches of the Yellow River, the Hexi Corridor, northern Hebei and Songliao; Comprehensively promote the development of two water scenery comprehensive bases in Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou, Guangxi and Southeast Tibet; Build five offshore wind power base clusters in Shandong Peninsula, Yangtze River Delta, Southern Fujian, eastern Guangdong and Beibu Gulf. With the large-scale development and construction of renewable energy, high-level consumption and utilization are also advancing simultaneously, and a series of energy science and technology breakthroughs are being accelerated in major projects. In Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Dawan District, the world’s most advanced flexible DC back-to-back project has entered the system commissioning stage. After completion this year, the power grid of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Dawan district will be reasonably divided, which will not only improve the power supply security capacity, but also promote Dawan district to absorb and utilize more new energy.
Just a few days ago, the national development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration jointly issued the opinions on improving the institutional mechanisms and policies and measures for green and low-carbon energy transformation. It is clear that during the “14th five year plan” period, we will basically establish an institutional framework to promote green and low-carbon energy development, form a relatively perfect policy, standard, market and regulatory system, and accelerate the green and low-carbon development of China’s energy.
