After lunch in Guihu service area, he and his family continued to set out. About 2 hours and 40 minutes later, he arrived at the Cangnan service area to replace the power station and completed the battery replacement. “The contrast between changing electricity on the highway is really too strong. However, some car owners said that when he returned to Shanghai from Lishui, Zhejiang Province, he passed through Dongyang service area, and the waiting time of queuing for power change also reached 40 minutes. Although some users are still plagued by queuing due to high-speed energy supplement, the energy supplement experience of electric vehicle users during the Spring Festival seems to be better than that during the national day. In this regard, automotive analyst Zhang Xiang told shell finance reporters that after the National Day charging problem was widely reported, users’ travel consideration was more comprehensive, and the government and operators also optimized it.
Zhang Xiang said that according to the previous data forecast of the Ministry of public security, the average daily flow of expressways will reach 48 million during the national day of 2021, with a total of about 336 million on the 7th. The traffic volume during the Spring Festival in 2022 is about 240 million. This eases the load of the charging station compared with that during the national day.
Zhang Hong, Secretary General of new energy vehicles branch of China Automobile Circulation Association, told shell finance reporters that new energy vehicles increased by 200% year-on-year in 2021 and the annual ownership increased by three times year-on-year, but the charging equipment did not grow synchronously. Therefore, whether it is due to the large traffic flow during the holidays or the cold climate in the north, there are still some problems such as few charging facilities, slow charging, and non universal facilities and payment means. It can be said that the growth of new energy vehicle charging facilities has not kept up with the growth of new energy vehicle sales. The shortage of chips will be further alleviated this year, the sales volume still has room to rise, and the imbalance between supply and demand of charging facilities may be more serious.
Zhang Hong said that to solve the charging difficulty, the core is to speed up the construction of charging facilities for new energy vehicles. Zhang Hong introduced that this link has been raised to the height of the new infrastructure of the 14th five year plan by the State Council. He firmly believes that the central government will have specific implementation arrangements worth looking forward to, whether in terms of policy preference or increasing investment.
Zhang Hong believes that local governments have great potential in the construction of charging facilities, such as increasing the subsidy policy for the construction of charging piles and promoting charging facility manufacturers or car enterprises to speed up the popularization of charging facilities; For vehicle enterprises that have built their own brand charging or power exchange facilities around the expressway, they can consider comprehensively, open their doors and accept vehicle charging of other brands, so as to alleviate the pressure of insufficient charging facilities.
For the scenario of high-speed energy replenishment, Zhang Hong mentioned that relevant enterprises can actively layout high-power fast charging to reduce the waiting time of users for energy replenishment; On the other hand, strengthening the construction of service area can improve the experience of users waiting for energy supplement while generating income. In addition, more reward and punishment measures can be added to the problems such as the occupation of oil vehicles and the failure to update and repair the charging pile in time, so as to promote the relevant enterprises to improve the service quality.
