Sonoscape Medical Corp(300633) announced that the company’s electronic lower gastrointestinal endoscope has been approved by the Guangdong Provincial Drug Administration and recently obtained the medical device registration certificate of the people’s Republic of China.
The announcement shows that the product is used in conjunction with the medical endoscope image processor produced by the company to provide images through the video display for the observation, diagnosis and treatment of the lower gastrointestinal tract (including anus, rectum, colon and ileocecal part). Compared with the 12.5mm outer diameter of ordinary colonoscopy, the outer diameter of this product is only 9.5mm. For patients undergoing ultra-fine colonoscopy, the success rate of cecal insertion and the completion rate of total colonoscopy are the same, but the discomfort reactions such as abdominal pain and abdominal distension are greatly reduced. The company said it was unable to predict the impact of the above products on the company’s future performance.
