Hydrogen provided by China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation(600028) Yanshan Petrochemical was used as fuel to ignite the main torch of the Winter Olympic Stadium at the opening ceremony.
As the cleanest and most environmentally friendly fuel, hydrogen can only produce water when burning, and will not produce carbon dioxide. Therefore, hydrogen fuel is used for all domestic relay torches. Hydrogen fuel is used to ignite the main torch of the Beijing Winter Olympic Stadium at the opening ceremony. At the same time, hydrogen fuel cell vehicles are widely used during the event to reduce pollutant emissions. In order to ensure the hydrogen supply of the main torch of the Winter Olympic Games, Yanshan Petrochemical has established a hydrogen supply team for the main torch of the Winter Olympic Games, and formulated detailed work plans and guarantee measures from various links such as hydrogen filling, testing and transportation guarantee, so as to ensure the high quality and safety of the supplied hydrogen.
It is reported that as an official strategic cooperation project between China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation(600028) and the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games, the hydrogen new energy unit of Yanshan Petrochemical achieved a successful start-up on January 2 and March 27, 2020. Its design scale is 2000 standard cubic meters / hour, which aims to provide guarantee for the use of hydrogen for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles during the Winter Olympic Games. The hydrogen produced by the unit can meet the use of fuel cell or electronic industry, and the whole process from stable production to product delivery will be realized on December 16, 2020. In January 2021, Yanshan Petrochemical battery realized mass production of hydrogen.
With the approaching of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and the promotion and implementation of Beijing’s new energy vehicle planning, several hydrogen refueling stations have been built in Beijing and surrounding areas, and the demand for hydrogen has increased greatly. To this end, Yanshan Petrochemical has formulated and issued the Yanshan Petrochemical hydrogen supply security work plan, established a special leading group, and set up six working groups, including production and operation, operation and maintenance, safety control, hydrogen transportation, emergency disposal and epidemic prevention and control, to pay close attention to process optimization and safe production, and make every effort to ensure the continuous, stable and high load operation of hydrogen new energy devices, Open full horsepower to realize continuous filling day and night, so as to ensure the use of hydrogen during the Olympic Games. Since the first hydrogen vehicle of Yanshan Petrochemical battery left the factory on December 16, 2020, more than 290 tons of fuel cell hydrogen have been supplied to the market, effectively ensuring the hydrogen demand of Beijing Winter Olympic Games.
