In recent years, Xi Jinping general secretary has made important instructions on the network security industry for many times, emphasizing that "we should adhere to the integrated development of network security education, technology and industry, and form a benign ecosystem of talent training, technological innovation and industrial development", pointing out the direction for the high-quality development of network security and providing fundamental guidance.
In order to escort the construction of manufacturing power, network power and digital China, all sectors of the industry work together to promote the development of network security industry into the "fast lane". In 2020, the scale of China's network security industry increased by 10.6% compared with 2019. The overall development trend of enterprises is good, technological innovation is highly active, ecological construction is constantly improved, and the comprehensive strength is significantly enhanced, making important contributions to the protection of national cyberspace security.
Under the guidance of the network security administration of the Ministry of industry and information technology, our institute has issued six consecutive white papers on China's network security industry. The network security industry studied in this report mainly focuses on the organizational business form formed by a series of R & D, production, operation, procurement and other activities carried out by the main bodies of network security supply and demand through the role of market mechanism under the influence of external factors such as policy, capital and ecological environment.
